That’s it, 2024 finished for the Carew Crew, and what a year!!!!

Let’s see what we got up to!

Added another surgery, taking us to 3, fully equipped surgeries
Overhauled our ‘plan’ membership, launching Club Carew, a fully-loaded practice members’ club, and bagged a 54% increase in membership!
Introduced Kaizen continuous improvements to the Crew, ensuring we never become complacent
Smashed post-graduate training, with Mel gaining an MSc Advanced Implantology and Jonathan a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry
Brought in various experts to help us understand the KPIs and OKRs needed to maintain growth and to develop a strategy for converting CD into an associate-led practice
Gave away ÂŁ1000’s of treatments, including ÂŁ10,000 in gift vouchers to our Club members!
Welcomed Busra, Jane, Morgan, Viktorija, and Richard into the Crew. +2 more dentists are joining in early 2025 💛🩶
Launched our brand spanking new website, complete with patient resources and online appointment booking!
Got stuck into of all the extra-curricular activities CD puts on across the year!
Joined with The Social Co to overhaul our social media; creating content, engaging influencers, and delivering Meta advertising campaigns
Introduced free Hygiene Education for all cosmetic patients, ensuring their OH routines are designed to care for their new smiles

… and whilst leading the team through all of the above, I moved 300 miles from the practice, got divorced, became a magistrate, started this blog, overhauled my wellbeing, embarked on the Elite Dental Leaders course, lost my beloved Maggie-Lou đź’”, and read/listened to 97 books.

Quite the year, and you know what, it was BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!!!!! 🚀

A short downtime now with Christmas and a sneaky visit to see Alfie in Malaysia, then full steam ahead to an even more magnificent 2025!!!! It is going to be phenomenal and I can not wait 💥🥊
